Our broth

Six ingredients.
That's the entire list.

No additives. No concentrates. No shortcuts. If it isn't in your kitchen, it isn't in our jars — and the whole range comes out of the same pot.

Ingredients

  • Beef bones
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Turmeric
  • Black pepper
  • Bay leaves
720 ml jar of The Butcher's Broth beef bone broth on a wooden shelf, with beef tallow and broth cubes beside it

How to use it

Four ways the range gets used.

Sip it

Heat a cup, morning or evening. The simplest way to drink it.

Cook with it

Rice, soups, stews and sauces — it deepens everything it touches.

Swap it in

Replace water or stock cubes in any recipe. Same step, better result.

Fry with the tallow

Rendered from the same bones. High smoke point for frying, searing and roasting.

The full Butcher's Broth range on a kitchen counter: 720 ml and 1300 ml jars of beef bone broth, beef tallow and a jar of broth cubes

How it's made

Slow, small, and to order.

Every batch is simmered for 5–6 hours until the broth sets rich and full, then poured hot into 720 mL and 1300 mL glass jars. Some of it is frozen into cubes, and the fat that rises to the top is rendered into tallow — nothing from the pot goes to waste. We cook after you order, so nothing sits on a shelf waiting for a buyer.
